EJCCK voices concern over plight of employees enrolled under NPS, demands immediate resolution of all pending demands

Srinagar : Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee Kashmir (EJCCK)  Aijaz Ahmad Khan has expressed concern on the non availability of Budget, which is to be made available by the Central Government for the Employees enrolled under New Pension Scheme.

In a statement issued here on Monday Aijaz Khan was voiced his concern over the role of NSDL, who claims to be the best service providers and ensures hassle free schemes for the Employees enrolled under New Pension Scheme (NPS) .

“A number of deputations enrolled in the New Pension Scheme reached our Office and alleged therein that their monthly salary has not been disbursed ” reads the statement issued by Aijaz Ahmad Kan, adding that”  On confirming the reasons, we got to know that the contribution of Centre @14 percent of the NPS Budget has not been released and the NPS Employees are made to suffer due to delay in disbursement of the pending amount from the central government “.

Stating that this mode of benefitting the Employees, where they strive for their living is unjust and the Government needs to look into the matter the EJCCK Chairman appealed Lieutenant Governor and Chief Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Dr A K Mehta tor consider the demand of NPS Employees for converting their status to Old Pension Scheme.

Appealing for the resolution of the legitimate demands of the Employees in General the EJCCK  Chairman  appealed the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to redress the long pending game  demands of Employees including the regularization of Contractual Workers in different Departments particularly  those  FP Shops Dealers of FCS&CA Deptt

The EJCCK Chairman also said that there are other demands which have been off and on put up with the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and are still pending.l.He reiterated his appealed for the immediate resolution  of all pending demands already taken up for consideration with the Government several times in recent times years. .
