Budgam : The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Budgam, S F Hamid on Monday visited Sub- District Hospital (SDH), Kremshore in Khansahab to take stock of health care facilities.
During the visit, DC inspected various wards including Gynae, Dental, OPD, General Wards, Lab, RNTCP and other sections. He also took stock of availability of medicine and functioning of existing machinery at the health institution.
During inspection of wards and OPD, the DC interacted with various patients and attendants and enquired about patient care and facilities being provided to the general public.
Stressing on providing better health facilities to patients, the DC instructed concerned to ensure robust functioning of all facilities in all sections.
SF Hamid also assessed the progress of registration of locals under health insurance schemes and distribution of sehat cards among the beneficiaries.
Reviewing availability of essential services including electricity and water to health institution, the DC directed concerned Zonal Medical Officer to ensure duty roster is followed in letter and spirit and all facilities function smoothly at the hospital for convenience of general public.
