Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Police in Budgam on Friday facilitates Police-public interaction meeting at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Patwaw. The meeting was chaired by Dy SP Headquarters Budgam Naeem Wani along with SHO PS Budgam. The meeting was attended by prominent respectable and representatives of villages Patwaw, Juhama, Sarpanchs/Panchs, Numbardars and other citizens falling in the jurisdiction of Police Station Budgam.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar here participants raised many issues of public importance during the meeting. Chairing officers listened to the grievances patiently and thereafter assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area and rest of issues pertaining to other departments will be taken up with concerned authorities for early redressal. The Participants were also stressed to co-operate with police and administration in maintaining L&O in the area and in identifying anti-national/anti-social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment.
