Jammu : A symposium on NashaMukt Bharat was on Fridayorganised by the Cultural Wing of the Department of Information and Public Relations at Pilot Academy High School BattalBallianUdhampur.
As many as 9 students participated in the symposium and expressed their views on the topic.
Komal Devi bagged first position, while NiharikaChambyal and Radhika Devi secured second and third positions, respectively.
All the winners and participants were felicitated with prizes and certificates. The competition was judged by Shivani, Bindia and Mamta
On the occasion, the students of school presented a scintillating cultural program which includes nukkadnatak on the topic, rhymes, skits, songs and slogans.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the school VedParkash threw light on the disastrous consequences of addiction on the individuals and the society as a whole. He also appreciated the Cultural Wing of the Department of Information and Public Relations for organizing such a meaningful program to aware the future of the nation.
Among others staff members, officials of Information Department including Mohinder Kumar and Suresh Kumar, Cultural Assistants and a large number of audience witnessed the program.
Program was coordinated by Suresh Kumar, Cultural Assistant of Cultural Unit Jammu. The whole program was conducted under the supervision of Cultural Officer, ParulKhajuria.
