Regional P. F. Comr visits Srinagar,  redresses issues of stakeholders

Srinagar :  The Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, J&K and Ladakh, Rizwan Ud din who is on a three days visit to Srinagar on Thursday visited EPFO, Regional Office, Srinagar and redressed problems of various stakeholders.

On the occasion, Nazir Ahmad Dar submitted the joint declaration forms for correction in DOB from 02/01/1959 to 02/01/1970. The Regional P. F. Commissioner-I gave approval to correct the Date of Birth and joint declaration was processed immediately. Another member Tajamul Islam visited Office of RO Srinagar along with joint declaration form for updation of his father name in members profile. The same was updated accordingly.

Besides, female member AsimaKhanam visited the office for correction of her husband name Bilal Ahmad Jan and relationship, the same was also updated immediately. Another female member submitted her Joint Declaration form for change of her name AsifaGulzar Mir to AsifaWaseemWani and husband name M M to WaseemYousufWani; the same were updated on the same day.

Shabir Ahmad Mir from DPS Budgam School visited office for his change of linked aadhaar number of other member Shabir Ahmad Mir in his profile, the same were updated after due verification of supporting documents and as per approval given by the RPFC-I for Major changes.

EPFO is servicing the entire area from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh with regard to settlement of claims, redressal of grievances, and facilitating stakeholders and so on.

Considering the large number of grievances and to ensure service delivery at doorstep, various online initiatives of EPFO such as balance enquiry, filing of online claims including transfer and Covid-19 advance claims and members’ basic details were explained with hands-on demonstration.

Later, P F Commissioner attended a meeting with the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir regarding Land for construction of Central Government Secretariat and Civil Service Officers institute.
