Mega Block Diwas: DC presides over grievance redressal camp at Kulgam

Kulgam :  The District Administration Kulgamon Wednesday organized a Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D. H.Pora to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.

The programme witnessed overwhelming response from PRIs and general public who highlighted issues and grievances confronting their areas for early redressal.

To take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.BilalMohi-Ud-Din-Bhat remained available at Kulgam where he listened to grievances and issues of people for redressal.

Officers from District Administration were also present during the block diwas.

People from Pooniwah, Munadguffan, Aadigatnoo, Aadoora, Daderkoot, Banimulla, Katpora, Chawalgam, Aamnoo, Nihama and other villages participated in this grievances redressal camp and apprised the DC about their issues.

Visiting delegations demanded installation of transformers at Adoora, electric poles for Reshipora Aadigatnoo, release of land compensation for Amnoo Kulgam road and development of playfield Adoora.

The DC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on the spot.

Earlier, ACD Kulgam Mohammd Imran Khan briefed about the action taken on the issue and grievances raised by people in previous block diwas.

Later a felicitation function was held in which Veer Naris were felicitated.

Meanwhile, grievances redressal camps were also held at Block D.K Marg and Block Devsar where ADDC and SDM listened to issues and grievances of people for redressal.
