Kashmiri content creator’s Instagram Reel about old Kashmiri house goes viral

Srinagar: “I showed this reel to my father, and damn, his eyes were in tears” Ali Sammir, an Instagram user commented on this reel created by a Kashmiri digital content creator. This reel created by one Abrar Ul Mustafa hailing from Kashmir has been extremely viral on Instagram. The Reel comprises of beautifully captured photographs on an old Kashmiri house at Quil in Bandipora. The house is constructed on a raised platform with typical traditional Kashmiri architecture.
Netizens were taken to their nostalgic past when they saw this video trending on Instagram. Most of the users were emotional. “Chills, literally” himalayan handicrafts, an Instagram user commented on the video. Likewise, another user said, “It gave me a smile first and then tears rolled down gently.” Amid Instagram clutter of videos, this Reel hit the right spot. Social media users appreciated the creator. One user Aqsa Kader wrote “The best reel of the day.” Similarly, another user commented “The best reel of year.” The video was so engaging that it involved netizens. So far, there have been more than 300 comments and a whopping 27 thousand likes. Astonishingly, there have been nearly 2.80 Lakh views on the Reel. It touched the people’s emotions and past legacy. A user, itz shiekh aaqib, commented.
“Hum aaj bhi issi type ke makan mein rehte hain and I am proud of it.” The creator of the Reel Abrar Ul Mustafa is a part-time digital content creator with a good following on Facebook and Instagram. He also manages a YouTube channel namely “Mentor Mustafa”. The creator is mainly into edicational content and mentorship. “Today we see either landscapes or mimicry on social media—which is good and suitable to a major group of audience—but there is a dearth of value-based content” Abrar says. He further adds, “This particular reel is not just a video of a house, it’s an emotion; it connects us with our past
