Srinagar : Vice, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri Prof Akbar Masoodon Tuesday released the book “Gardish-e-Sham-o-Sehar” written by Mohammad Bashir shawl today. The book release function was organized by the Department of Urdu, BGSBU.
In a statement issued from Public Relations Office BGSBU here, speaking on the occasion, Prof. Akbar congratulated the author of the book for producing a wonderful piece of literary work that will benefit the students and scholars of Urdu literature. Prof. Akbar said that BGSBU is committed to promoting the national and regional languages and has taken many important initiatives which will have a long-lasting impact on the promotion of art, culture, and languages.
In a concluding para of the statement, prominent senior citizens of Rajouri who were present on the occasion included NisarRahi, Dr MB Magray, DrShakeelRaina, Syed Mohammad Azam Shah, KhursheedJanam, Rubina Mir &Mirza Mohammad Aslam. DrLiaqatNayyer Coordinator of Department conducted the proceedings of the programme.
