Reasi : A farmers’ awareness programme on PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme (PM FME-ODOP) was on Saturday conducted here in village Ladh of block Gulabgarh. Around 50 farmers, including unemployed youth participated in the training programme.
Vice Chairperson District Development Council, Reasi Advocate SajraQadir, inaugurated the camp in the presence of District Nodal Officer, Harbans Singh, District Agriculture Officer extension s Rajesh Verma; Agriculture Extension Officer, Naresh Gupta and JAEO concerned.
The District Nodal Officer gave a detailed presentation on the scheme. The District Agriculture Officer Extension and District Resource Person LayaqatHadri also spoke about the scheme.
The Vice Chairperson, ShajraQadir lauded the department for reaching out to inaccessible and far flung areas of the District for mitigating the problems of unemployed youth and farming community. Officials from allied departments also participated in the programme. Vote of thanks was presented by SarpanchJamaldin of PanchayatGulabgarh.
