Awantipora : The Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday organised a meeting of retired police officers association in Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district to review the welfare measures and to address their grievances
According a statement, SSP Awantipora Mohd Yousuf chaired the meeting and was accompanied by SP DAR Awantipora. The statement reads the participants were welcomed by chairing officer and assured that police was always at their disposal. He also said that they should not feel alone and still consider themselves part of the Police organization and can approach any Police officer or Police unit at any time of exigency.
As per the statement, during the meeting, the retired officers raised various issues and the chairing officer assured them that their genuine issues and problems would be taken up at an appropriate level for their early redressal. “The participants were also requested to share their valuable suggestions and experience with Police officers in smart policing.”
