Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, DoifodeSagarDattatray who is also District Panchayat Election Officer on Thursday convened a meeting of all the Nodal Officers, RO, AROs to review the preparedness for re-poll of DDC Constituency Drugmulla.
The DC took a detailed review of the arrangements including Randomization, Transport and Security Plan and directed the concerned officers to ensure smooth and systematic arrangements in place for the smooth conduct of the re-poll.
All the officers were assigned the duties for smooth conduct of the polling process.
The ACD was designated as Nodal Officer for ensuring logistical arrangements of the polling staff in all 42 polling stations.
The DC also reviewed other arrangements including polling material and ballot boxes.
Dy. DEO Kupwara, Mehraj-u-din, ACD Kupwara, Chief Agriculture Officer, Nodal Officers and Police Officers attended the meeting.
