DC G’bal for involvement of all stakeholders for sustainable Devof Edu sector

G’bal :  The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir on Monday chaired a meeting of the Core Committee Members designated for revamping the education sector in the district in respect of Curriculum Interventions and Infrastructural gaps.

At the outset, Principal BHSS Khalmulla gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation regarding the proposed curriculum interventions viz Extra Curricular Activities and other academic activities to be performed in the institutions as per NEP-2020.

The meeting also discussed the existing infrastructure and the gaps thereof and the proposed suggestions to cope up with the present day infrastructural needs of the institution. All committee members shared their valuable suggestions for upliftment of the Educational Scenario with regard to the NEP 2020.

After threadbare discussion with all the committee members, the DC called for involvement of all stakeholders including Colleges/ ITIs/ Polytechnic colleges/NGOs for sustainable development of the Education sector in the district. It was also stressed that the land of the schools shall be entered in the Revenue Records. He also stressed for Human Resource Mapping of all the Teaching/Non-Teaching employees of the school Education Department.

It was also decided that two schools from each zone shall be nominated for implementation of the suggestions put forth by the Core Committee in the first phase during the new academic session.

The meeting was attended by Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, Majid Ahmad Kohli; Deputy Chief Education Officer, Nasir Ahmad Wani and other core committee members.
