Srinagar Admin holds Pledge taking ceremonies across District to mark Constitution Day celebrations

ADDC Srinagar read out the preamble of the Constitution along with Officers/Officials at DC Office Complex

Srinagar : To mark the Constitution Day, celebrated every year on 26th November to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India,  the District Administration Srinagar Saturday organised Preamble reading ceremonies in all the Government Offices across the District.

On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad the main function was held at the Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex  where Additional District Development Commissioner Srinagar, Zahoor Ahmad Mir read out the preamble of the Constitution along with all senior Officers and Officials of the DC Office Srinagar.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC urged upon all Officers/Officials to maintain a sense of brotherhood, achieve the idea of social, economic and political justice, liberty of thought and expression, equality among all and section of fraternity as enshrined in the preamble of our Constitution.

While, the Officers and Officials present in the ceremony reiterated the resolve of the nation to constitute India into a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular and Democratic Republic Nation.

Meanwhile, the similar functions were also held in all District Offices of Srinagar, during which participants read Preamble and expressed their strong will to secure all its citizens justice, liberty and equality. Besides, promote among them all fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation.
