Srinagar : The Agriculture department Kashmir Saturday celebrated the ‘Constitution Day’ and Preamble Reading Ceremony was held at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi Srinagar.
Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhury Mohammad Iqbal presided over the pledge ceremony in his office premises. He read the message which was repeated by all the officers/officials of the directorate.
Addressing the event, the Director said that the Constitution Day is celebrated to promote the values among the citizens. He highlighted the importance of these values and said the best way to celebrate this day is to work with dedication and commitment for the welfare and well being of the farming community of the region.
Preamble reading ceremonies were also held at all the district, sub-division and zonal offices of the department, where the concerned officers presided over the functions.
