Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundalon Friday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the progress of Adhar enrollment.
Aadhaar system provides single source offline/online identity verification across the country for the Indian residents. Once residents enroll, they can use their Aadhaar number to authenticate and establish their identity multiple times using electronic means or through offline verification.
Seeking the status of Adhar enrollment of 0-6 year age group, the DDC asked the concerned officer to take effective measures to ensure that all eligible children in the said age group are enrolled for Adhar.
The concerned officers from the Health Department were asked to organise special camps in Anganwadicentres and pre primary schools to ensure that no child in 0-6 age group is left out from getting enrolled under Adhar.
