Mega Block Diwas: ADDC Kulgam presides over at grievances redressal camp at Behibagh

Kulgam : The District Administration Kulgam on Wednesday organized Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district including Devsar, Kulgam and D. H. Pora to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.

On the occasion, Officers and officials from line departments listened to issues, grievances and demands of the public for timely redressal at all the three venues.

Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather presided over at a grievances redressal camp at block Behibagh where he listened to grievances and issues of people for redressal.

People from Cheki Hajin, Behibagh, Daderkoot, Kadder, Turigam, Matibugh, Akipora and other villages participated in this grievances redressal camp at Kulgam and apprised the officers about their issues and grievances.

People from the area put forth demand of  repairment of irrigation canal, widening & Macadamisation  of Sheganpora to Dederkoot link road, interest weave-off of  KCC loans  and various other demands of public importance were flagged by the  people during this camp here at Behibagh.

Officers and officials from District Administration were also present during this block Diwas and responded to the grievances of the people.

At the outset ACD Kulgam Mohammad Imran Khan briefed about the action taken on the grievances which were flagged-off by the people during previous block diwas.

DDC member Behibagh, PRI members and  large number of locals from Behibagh Block participated in this block devas.

Moreover, block diwas functions were also held at D. H. Pora and Kund blocks where SDM Noorabad Bashir Ul Hassan and ACR Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz listened to issues and grievances of people for timely redressal.
