Chenab Taekwondo Club clinches Taekwondo Championship-2022 in Doda

Doda :  The 3rd District Doda 2- day Taekwondo Championships-2022 organised under the My Youth My Pride initiative concluded on Tuesday here in the Community Hall Doda.

Around 200 players from different Clubs and Schools of the   District participated in the Championship. Chenab Taekwondo Club emerged the winner as he bagged the Overall team trophy.

The event was designed for the selection of upcoming J&K level Taekwondo championship wherein

Deputy Commissioner (DC), Vishesh Paul Mahajan was the Chief Guest at the concluding ceremony, while SSP, Abdul Qayoom; DIO, Mohammad Ashraf Khurwani; DySP Traffic police, Baljeet Singh, CAO GMC Doda, Mohammad Iqbal were the Guests of Honour.

The Chief Guest congratulated the organisers of district Doda Taekwondo Association and said that the District Administration was committed to support the organizers of the sports events. He said promotion of sports culture among the youth was among the top priorities of the LG administration.

The Championship was organised by District Doda Taekwondo Association (DDTA) headed by BurhanUd Din Khan (Secretary DDTA) under the aegis of Jammu Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA) and supported by J&K Sports Council.

The event was sponsored by   Shaheen Public Hr.Sec School Doda and co sponsored by Famishd – Food & Grocery delivery,  Delta Multi Specialty clinic (DMC), Khan & Sons, Adil Bakers, AFC Gym, Cafe Yakjah, Bliss Cafe, Halal Basket, Rukwals Little Hut, and Hotel Rehmat Plaza besides others

Earlier, President DDTA Junaid Ali Khan and Chairman Mohammad RizwanWani presented Bouquets to the guests. Organising Secretary, DDTA, MuzamilIqbal Khan presented the vote of thanks to all the esteemed guests on behalf of District Doda Taekwondo Association.
