People appreciate efforts of DC Kupwara for successful Hatmullah operation

Kupwara : The people of district Kupwara, especially the relatives, inhabitants of village Hatmullah and Civil society appreciated the timely efforts of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray and thanked him for taking immediate action and personal efforts to rescue the trapped boy who was accidentally fell into a well and his  Uncle who tried to rescue him but was also Trapped in the well.

People said that  Doifode Sagar Dattatray has created a history of responsible administration in the district by  personally visiting  the incident spot,  remained present there during night for monitoring the situation himself.

The rescue operation which was launched by District Administration with the support of Police, Army, SDRF and Fire & Emergency services at HatmullahKupwara Tuesday evening was successfully concluded in the late night, giving cheer and happiness to the people of the area as both the persons which were trapped inside a well were rescued successfully.

Soon after the news regarding the incident spread, the District Administration pressed its men and machinery into service and after the persistent efforts of the administration and rescue teams, both the persons were rescued.

The rescue operation was supervised  and monitored by Deputy Commissioner, Doifode Sagar Dattatray, himself  . Others who were in the operation include Tehsildar Kupwara, Sahibzada Niyaz Ahmad Bhat , DSP Headquarter, Rashid Younis,  officers and officials of Revenue department, SDRF, Police,  Health, Army and Fire & Emergency Services, who made all possible efforts to rescue the trapped persons.

The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the role of officers and officials with whose tireless efforts both the persons were rescued. He said   the operation ended successfully after the skillful effort of 12 hours, followed by all rescue parameters to save the both lives.

The DC also appreciated the role of local people ,media and all others who support the operation.
