Srinagar : The Enforcement Wing of Lake Conservation & Management Authority (LCMA) on Saturday conducted a demolition drive in the area of BreinNishat, IshberNishat, Saderbal, Check Saderbal, DoodhMohalla NFR, Pazwalpora Shalimar, SaidaKadal, WangundTeilbal and DanporaTeilbal.
During the drive, 04 Single Storeys, 01 3rd Storey, 01 Shuttering for Plinth, 01 Shop and Shuttering for Compound Walling were demolished / removed.
Moreover, illegal earth filling dumped in the area of BreinNishat and SaidaKadal were also removed on the spot.
Further, legal action against the violators was also initiated.
Meanwhile, people in these areas have been warned not to resort to any illegal constructions/ encroachments and were asked to get proper building permission from the competent Authority before taking any construction in hand.
