World Heritage Week: Archives, Archaeology & Museums Deptt to hold exhibitions in Srinagar

Srinagar: As part of World Heritage Week celebration from 19th to 25th of November 2022, the department of Archives, Archaeology and Museums is going to organise two Mega Exhibitions in Srinagar on Thursday.
The Exhibitions will be held at Art Gallery Sher-Garhi Complex Old Assembly Complex, Srinagar on the theme ‘Rare Manuscripts and Archival Heritage’ while another at S.P.S Museum LalMandi Srinagar on the theme ‘Monumental Glory of Kashmir’.
The department has requested all the Heads of the Educational Institutions Government/Private to visit the above mentioned venues along with their students. There will be ‘No Entry Fee’ for students as well as the general public by visiting these two special exhibitions, so that the students will get awareness about the Rich cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir.
