Mega Block Diwas held at Kulgam, DC presides over at grievance redressal camp also

Kulgam :  The District Administration Kulgamon Wednesday organized a Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D. H.Pora to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.

To take stock of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat remained available at Kulgam where he listened to grievances and issues of people for redressal.

Officers from District Administration were also present during the block diwas.

People from Yadikhah, Aasnoor, Khull Ahmadabad, Madibug, Chimmer, Souch, Pombay, Yaripora and other areas participated in this grievances redressal camp and apprised the DC about their issues and demands.

The visiting delegations from different areas demanded construction of  Protection bund at Sonman canal, building upgradation for Primary School Madigund, upgradation of Power network at Khull Ahmadabad and development of link road at Souch. They also apprised the DC about their issues and grievances and developmental requirements of their areas.Officers on the spot responded to the grievances of the people.

The DC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the issues, grievances and demands of immediate nature on the spot. Earlier, ACD Kulgam Mohammad Imran Khan briefed the chair about the action taken on the grievances that were flagged-off by the people during previous block diwas.

Meanwhile grievances redressal camps were also held at Block D.H. Pora and Block Devsar where ADDC and SDM listened to issues and grievances of people for redressal.
