ADDC visits PHC, Primary School; orders safety audit of old school buildings

Budgam :  The District Administration Budgamon Wednesday held Block Diwas at PanchayatHalqaHayatpora in Block Nagam of Chadoora.

The Programme was chaired by ADDC Budgam, DrAkramullahTak.

On the occasion, PRIs, representatives from Senior Citizens Forum and others respected from village Hayatpora, Malpora, Qazipora, and other adjacent villages apprised the ADDC about their needs. After giving patient hearing to the public, the  ADDC assured that all genuine demands shall be looked into on priority.

Speaking on the occasion, ADDC called for record correction of land records, development of playfield, and works including remains of rooftop maintenance of Hospital Building, fencing of primary school at Qaziporabe taken for execution on priority.

He directed PDD authorities to erect poles at required spots and carry out improvement works of LT and HT lines on war footing.

In order to ensure a smooth supply of water, he instructed concerned to ensure hassle-free functioning of the Filtration plant.

It was informed that WSS worth Rs. 42 crore under JJM have been approved for the area to ensure adequate water supply to the area.

R&B and PMGSY authorities were instructed to take up development and macadamization works of main roads and inner links  in phased- manner for better connectivity to the general public.

The ADDC stressed on coordination between departments and availability of field functionaries on the ground for public convenience.

He emphasized that works related to irrigation, road development and improvement in education and health sectors be executed in a time bound manner for public convenience.

The ADDC along with other officers also visited the Public Health Centre and took on spot assessment of Health services. He stressed that rooftop construction work of the hospital building be carried out on priority.

He also paid a visit to the Primary School at Hayatpora and ordered a safety audit of old school structures including the Middle School Building at Hayatpora for the safety of human lives.

SDM Chadoora  CEO, Tehsildar, Executive Engineer PDD, BMO and other concerned officers and officials were also present on the occasion.
