Jammu : Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Avny Lavasa on Wednesday convened a meeting to review the works under BADP and District Capex Budget plan 2022-23 including DDC, BDC and PRI components.
At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner took department wise review of works undertaken by these departments to cater to the developmental needs of the district with focus on strengthening grassroots level infrastructure.
It was apprised to the Chair that under BADP, out of 141 works 96 have been completed and 6 have been tendered.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed the officers to expedite the tendering process and complete all works under BADP at the earliest.
It was also informed in the meeting that a total 4055 worksare approved under J&K, DDC, BDC and PRI components.
It was further informed that under DDC plan, 309 works have been approved, estimates of 291have been prepared and 258 works have already been tendered.
Under BDC plan, 274 works have been approved, estimates of 266 have been prepared and 259 tendered, the meeting was told.
Similarly, under PRI plan against 3265 proposed works estimates of 3159 have been prepared and 3127 have been tendered.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed on the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of ongoing works for their time-bound completion.
She asked the senior officers of concerned departments to submit the bills on time of the completed works in order to avoid any kind of inconvenience in future.
CEO Suraj Singh Rathore, CPO YoginderKatoch, ACD Preeti Sharma besides senior officers of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
