Udhampur : The Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement Cell of Government College for Women, Udhampurorganised a visit to One day Job Fair organised by the District Employment &Counselling Centre, Udhampur at the Employment Office, OmarahMorh, Udhampur under the supervision of Prof. Jugal Kishore, Convener, Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement Cell.
Dr. Monika Sharma, the College Principal flagged off the delegation of students led by Prof (Dr.) Kamaldeep Kour and Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed.
A group of more than 40 students from the college visited the One Day Job Fair wherein they interacted with the Company Heads including among others SBI life, LIC of India and received the first-hand experience of placement services.
In addition to this, NavdeepKour, Counsellor District Employment &Counselling Centre, Udhampur also interacted with the students making them aware about the various public schemes and career avenues available for the graduates in varied vocational domains.
Earlier, while flagging off the delegation, Dr. Monika Sharma, Principal of the college, interacted with the students and encouraged them to participate in such programmes with affirmation. She said that the college shall continue to organise such events in future also and the Career Counselling, Guidance and Placement Cell of the college shall be extend full support to keep the students aware of the ever-changing Career prospects available to the graduates.
At the end, a positive feedback was recorded by Prof (Dr.) KamaldeepKour and Prof. Mustaq, both members of CCGP Cell, which beacons the successful consummation of the visit fulfilling the expected outcome.
