Kulgam : Rent Assessment Committee (RAC) meeting was held on Monday at Kulgam under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.BilalMohi-Ud-Din Bhat.
During the meeting, the DC held a detailed discussion with officers of various departments functioning from rented accommodations in the district and with the landlords of these buildings before approving rent cases.
The meeting approved 11 cases out of 18 pertaining to various departments.
The meeting was attended by ADC, Executive Engineer of R&B, DySP (DR) and District Officers from various departments besides landlords of the rented buildings.
Turmeric, Garlic, and Honey, Lemon grass oil etc. Women Self Help Group also displayed/sold their products.
More than 200 live exhibits of paddy, maize, vegetables, and mushroom and sugarcane crops brought by the farmers from different areas were displayed and assessed by the Judging Committee.
