NHPC Ltd organises awareness event on Vigilance Week at Ramgarh

Samba :  NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company, in association with “The Pathseekers International School,”, Ramgarhon Friday organized an inter-school poster making competition to create awareness among students about Vigilance Awareness Week.

This year the Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed from 31st October 2022 to 6th November, 2022 to mark the birthday of SardarVallabhbhai Patel and to spread social awareness among the students. The theme for Friday’s inter-school Poster competition was “Corruption free India for a developed Nation”.

Students from MV international school, Shree Ram Universal School, Fauji Public School, Government Higher Secondary School (Ramgarh), Govt Girls Higher Secondary School (Jakh), Government Middle School (Ramgarh), Government High School (Ramgarh), Pathseekers School(Ramgarh) participated in the poster making competition.

The jury for the event consisted of Principal Delhi Public School (Nagbani)   R K Verma& General Manager (NHPC)  RaghunathJhoor.

Speaking on the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Samba,  Suram Chand Sharma said that the campaign of Vigilance Awareness Week aims to realise the dream of a corruption-free India and underlined its importance in the lives of every citizen. He applauded the efforts of SSP(retd) Bhupinder Singh, (Chairman, Pathseekers School) for organising this meaningful event for the students of the border area.

Winners from Category A were SimranKumari (MV International), Vrinda (Shree Ram Universal School), Sonali (Pathseekers)

From Category B winners were Punica Choudhary, ShivikaTomar (both from MV Int.), PreetiAhirwar (GGHSS, Jakh).

From Category C, winners were Preeti(MV) , TannuKhajuria&Mannat ( both form Fauji Public School)

From Category D winner were VanshikaChoudhary (Pathseekers), Maniayta Sharma &SarishaVerma both from MV international school. Winners from each category were awarded with cash prizes, certificates & with trophies.

Later, Dr. ManpreetKaur, Principal TPIS thanked district administration Samba, NHPC and congratulated students along with their escorting mentors for making this event a success.
