DDC Kishtwar reviews achievements under DisttCapex Budget 2022-23

DM Stresses on optimum utilization of funds, timeline completion of developmental projects

Kishtwar :  District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav on Friday chaired a meeting to review the progress on different works taken up under the District Capex Budget 2022-23.

Additional District Development Commissioner  , Sham Lal; Joint Director Planning, Mohammad Iqbal; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Varunjeet Singh Charak; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, ZakirHussainWani; Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), AtulDutt Sharma; DPO, Sunil Bhutyal; DYSSO, KharatiLal Sharma; CEO, Sudershan Kumar Sharma; ExEn REW, Bashir Ahmed, EXEn PHE and ExEns of PWD besides other concerned  attended the meeting.

The District Development Commissioner reviewed scheme-wise physical and financial status of the District Capex Budget under Area Developmental Plan, Jalshakti, Education, Health and other sectors.

The Joint Director Planning informed the meeting that out of 2391 works proposed under the budget, Administrative Approval of 2336 works has been accorded and 2253 works have been tendered out, while 1020 works are under execution and 640 works have been completed till date.

Besides, district officers gave detailed presentations on the physical and financial progress achieved under different works being executed under the District Capex Budget 2022-2023.

Under the Health sector, ExEn R&B was directed to submit the estimates of the work on NT-PHC Machail besides tender out the work of Sub Centre (SC) Padhyarna and SC Drabshalla within a week.

Further, it was informed that 95% work has been completed on SC Ligri and the work on the SC Budhdhar is under progress.

The DDC stressed upon the concerned functionaries  to complete the left out works in  a time bound manner.

He expressed dissatisfaction over the slow pace of work  under the elementary Education sector and directed BDOs to coordinate with ExEn REW and submit the estimates and the current status of works under the sector by 9th Nov 2022.

The CEO was directed to personally monitor the pace of work for achieving tangible results in a timely manner.

The DYSSO was directed to expedite the pace of sports sector works, besides re-tender the left out works  to complete the same in stipulated time.

The DPO Kishtwar was asked to enquire about delay in allotments of tendered works, while the BDOs were directed to submit the list of completed works to Ex En REW by Friday evening and the latter was asked to   furnish bills for the treasures by Saturday.

The progress on the NFB was also reviewed in the meeting and necessary directions were passed to the concerned to expedite the construction works.

The indenting and executing authorities were directed to ensure 100 percent utilisation of outlay under the District Capex Budget 2022-23.
