B2V4 concludes in Doda covering all 237 panchayats

Rural Adventure; Chenab Rafting; ADBHUT Doda, Innovation Challenge; Know your real Heroes initiatives launched during flagship prog

Doda : With the return of all the Visiting Officers deputed for the last round of the ambitious Back to Village Phase 4th programme, the B2V4 concluded on Thursday in all the 237 Panchayats of Doda District on high note.

A string of special and first of its kind initiatives were launched during the B2V4 program in the district under the supervision of District Development Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan

Rural Adventure Sports and Chenab White water Rafting at Shibnote Premnagar, from 27th of October; ‘Know your real Heroes’ and “ADBHUT Doda” a unique initiative of District Administration launched from DakbunglowBhaderwah were the man highlights of the flagship public reach out  program .

The initiative ADBHUT Doda aims at achieving 100% saturation both quantitatively and qualitatively in education, tourism, healthcare, entrepreneurship, sanitation, water conservation, community building and youth related issues. The departments involved shall be given a timeline to achieve the desired results, measurable through set parameters.

“Innovation Challenge” is another initiative of District Administration aiming to get innovative ideas from youth on Reuse & Disposal of Solid Waste, especially Single Use Plastic in Rural Areas of the District.

“Know your real Heroes” aims to introduce the real heroes of District Doda who sacrificed their precious lives for the safety and security of the Nation. Photographs of 150 Martyr soldiers from Army, paramilitary and JKP shall be placed at every school of the district to enable the young generation to know about the real heroes of the district. The initiative shall inculcate the patriotic feelings among youth, besides giving our heroes their due respect in the society

The officers during B2V4 visited Government establishments/ offices and reviewed their performance. The officers also reviewed the progress under various government schemes and developmental deliverables specified by the J&K administration.

They also assessed the saturation of ADHAAR Card, Golden Health Cards, E-SHRAM card, KCC, Domicile, distribution of Land Pass books, and Old age/ Widow/ Handicapped pension.

Cultural programmes, pledge on Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyaan and Swach Gaon Sunder Gaon Abhiyaan, Pledge on Ekta and Vigilance pledge, Sports activities especially indigenous rural games, and other activities gave festive look to the whole programme under B2V4 from 28th of October to 3rd of November (Today).

The visiting officers conducted special Gram Sabhas, the special audit of MGNREGA, PMAY, IHHL, CSCs, AmritSarovars and other schemes. They also held MahilaSabhas and BalSabhas and interacted with them. The officers also inaugurated/ dedicated to the public various rural assets and infrastructure. They talked of self employment schemes sponsored by various government organisations/ departments and distributed Sanctioned letters to the beneficiaries under PMEGP and other such schemes. Besides, Land passbooks were distributed among land holders, Golden Health Cards, Domicile certificates and E- Shram cards were also distributed during the program. Visiting Officers received overwhelming response from the people during the Back to Village phase-4 programme.
