Budgam : The Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan on Saturday inaugurated Govt High School Building at Chanowpora, Beerwah.
The high school building was constructed at the cost of 1.62 crores and was Saturday dedicated to the public in a function organised by the School Education Department.
Chairman DDC on the occasion said that district administration along with Council is committed to complete all languishing projects in the district. He further impressed upon SAMAGRA and other executing agencies to expedite the work on various buildings.
Chairman DDC also visited Sonpah and Arwah villages to participate in the ongoing Back to Village programmes. He also distributed land passbooks among the various farmers at Arwah village. He urged visiting officers to include all pressing demands in their suggestions and give due preference to PRI members during their stay in the villages.
Chairman DDC Budgam was also accompanied by ADDC Budgam, CEO Budgam, PRI members, ZEO Beerwah, PRI members and other senior officers of the School Education Department.
