Training imparted to visiting officers deputed for B2V4 activities in Doda

Doda : District Administration Doda on Thursday organized a day-long training session at Conference Hall DC Office Complex Doda for the officers deputed for Back to Village phase 4th (B2V4) activities. Online mode training was also arranged for the visiting officers who have been deputed from GAD.

DC DodaVishesh Paul Mahajan inaugurated the training session and exhorted the officers to use this opportunity as their contribution in the development of the villages, which in turn will guarantee overall development of the District and the J&K. He added that the sole aim of the initiative was to bring governance at the doorsteps of the people and involve local populace in the developmental activities as per their needs.

On the occasion, the master trainers imparted training to the officers and enlightened them about the motive behind organisingprogrammes like Jan Abhiyaan and B2V4.

The training was imparted to the Visiting Officers by Master Trainers Idrees Lone, Dy Director Employment Doda; Mohd Ashraf Wani, District Information Officer Doda and DrAkhterHussain AP-GDC Doda under the overall supervision of DC Doda.

The officers were given information on activities on day 1st and day 2nd. Besides, they were asked to visit all the public offices in the villages and impart awareness to the public about their rights, besides various individual and community welfare schemes. The officers shall also report on the working/ performance of PRIs.

It was given out that 237 Panchayats across different blocks are to be covered in the district under Back to village phase-4 in four phases. The first group of visiting officers shall visit their allotted villages on 28th of October, while 2nd, 3rd and 4th batch of officers shall visit on 30th October, 1st November, and 2nd November, respectively.

Later,   kits containing booklets and other materials required during various activities to be conducted during the 4th Phase of B2V programme, were distributed among the visiting officers.

Among others, ADDC DodaPran Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner DodaDr Ravi Kumar Bharti, Assistant Commissioner Revenue AshfaqKhanji and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
