Maharaja Hari Singh wanted J&K to be integral part of India: BJP’s Brigadier Gupta
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsappTelegramEmail

Jammu: BJP’s J&K Spokesman Brigadier (Retd) Anil Gupta has in his Accession Day message said that Maharaja Hari Singh Wanted J&K to be integral part of India.
In a tweet Brigadier (Retd) Gupta said “ #AccessionDay, Maharaja Hari Singh acceded to the Union of India since he wanted J&K to be an integral part of the Republic of India, but the Pak invasion followed by subsequent events masterminded by the Sheikh tried to project J&K as a separate entity different from the rest of the nation in order to promote his Khandani Raj”, stating therein further that “ This led to separatism. The Plebiscite Front raised by the supporters of the Sheikh, after NC merged with the Congress, was the first organised separatist movement”.
In yet another tweet Brigadier Gupta said “the return of Sheikh to power at the behest of Indira Gandhi gave further boost to separatism. Pak which had been eyeing Kashmir with its evil eyes seized the opportunity, after the death of the Sheikh and installation of his son as CM with no experience at all, launched religious militancy in Kashmir to give communal angle to the separatist voices. Later Jihad was clubbed with tmilitancy with fundamentalists ruling the roost and terming Kashmir as the launch pad of Gajwae Hind”.
In another tweet Brigadier (Retd) Gupta said “the weak governments at the Centre failed to rise to the occasion, challenge posed by Pak and the separatists began to smell success. It is at this stage that the nation brought BJP to the power at Centre with a thumping mandate for two consecutive terms. The rest thereafter is history”.
In yet another tweet the BJP’s J&K Spokesman also said “Good always prevails over the evil.
J&K today is marching ahead with rest of the nation as it’s integral part fulfilling the desire and vision of the Late Maharaja”.
