Pulwama : As part of Jan Abhiyan campaign, and as a prelude to Phase-4th of Back to Village programme, multifarious activities were conducted on Thursday by various Departments across the length and breadth of Pulwama district.
An array of activities was conducted by various departments to make the campaign more vibrant and effective in achievement of set Deliverables.
Jal Shakti, PDD, Sericulture and various other departments besides J&K Bank organised activities under the programme as per their set Targets.
Deweeding, cleaning near DT sites, Installation of branch fuses and other activities have been done by PDD Pulwama at various blocks of the district.
Agriculture deptt organized a mega awareness program about different schemes related to farm activities at agriculture zone malangpora.
Handicrafts and handlooms department organized an awareness camp at KarimabadPulwama regarding various schemes of the department.
Department of Youth Services and Sports organised Running activities on the birth anniversary of Iron Man of India, SardarVallabhbhai Patel. It also organised 18 Running activities in all the zones to literate people about the contributions of the legend, wherein 1478 school students and staffers of the department participated in the Runs.
All departments have intensified activities under the campaign to saturate the targets set out for the benefit of the people and to set stage for the ambitious outreach, Back to Village-4.
