Awantipora : Dr.Fayaz Ahmad Loan joined the Islamic University of Science and Technology as Librarian. Dr. Loan has previously served at the Panjab University Chandigarh, Central University of Kashmir, and University of Kashmir in different capacities.
According to a statement issued from Public Relations Office & Media Centre, IUST Awantipora,Dr. Loan possesses a rich research experience with about a hundred research publications/chapters in internationally reputed journals/books with publishers like Emerald, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, and Springer. He is also on the editorial and review board of various national and international journals, that include Library Hi Tech, Electronic Library, and IFLA Journal. Being an expert in the field of library science, Dr. Loan has delivered several invited lectures in workshops, orientation, and refresher courses in various universities across the country and has presented his research at scores of international events.
In a concluding para of the above referred statement, while expressing his pleasance on joining IUST, Dr. Loan said ‘I am committed to providing information support to the academic community of IUST for achieving the academic goals using cutting edge information and communication technologies”.
