Srinagar| Oct,23: Former Director Horticulture Kashmir Mohammad Shafi Qasba passed away on Sunday morning after protracted illness. The deceased is also elder brother of former City Municipal Commissioner Srinagar and elder uncle of SP Handwara Sheema Nabi Qasba.Kashmir Horizon family has condoled his demise and extended deep sympathies with the bereaved family.
Witnesses said hundreds of people including members from the civil society and top retired and serving bureaucrats participated in the funeral prayers (Nimaz-e-Jinazah) of the deceased They have also expressed shock and grief over the demise of Mohammad Shafi Qasba and expressed their condolences to Dr G N Qasba and his bereaved family. Kashmir Horizon also condoles demise of Mohammad Shafi Qasba and stands in complete solidarity with all the members of the bereaved family particularly Dr G N Qasba.Kashmir Horizon also prays for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this big loss.
