Kulgam : Taking governance at the door steps of people, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal-Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhaton Saturday visited D.H.Pora Noorabad where he listened to demands, issues and grievances of people for early redressal.
People from the area put forth various developmental requirements of their areas. All the issues were listened to patiently by the DC and several issues were redressed on the spot.
The DC also distributed Land Passbooks among the land owners under Jan Abhiyan programme.
Earlier, the DC also visited Aadigen Bridge and took stock of current physical status of this bridge which is under the execution of R&B department and instructed officers of R&B to complete the bridge within a month.
It was informed that the Bridge is approved project under languishing scheme and will come up with an estimated cost of Rs 17.97 crore
The Bridge consists of 7 x 42 Mtr spans and 148 Mtr Dead span and about 90 percent of work on the bridge has been completed.
SDM Noorabad, ACR, Tehsildar and other officers were accompanying the DC.
