Doda : One day KisanMela/Farmers’ Awareness camp was conducted on Friday by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare at PanchayatKoti Zone Udhyanpur Sub Division Pranoo District Doda.
The camp was organized under the overall supervision of the Chief Agriculture officer.
Around 150 farmers, including PRI representatives, participated in the camp. Allied Departments, Horticulture and Floriculture also participated in the Mela.
Manjeet Singh, Plant Doctor delivered a detailed lecture on different Schemes of the Department. HDO, Mohinder Singh Rana imparted awareness to the farmers about different schemes of the Horticulture department. AEO, Udhyanpur, Kavel Singh thanked the farmers for attending the Mela in large numbers.
AEA PanchayatKoti, IrshadHussain, AEA NasirHussain and AEA Ilyas Ahmed also attended the Camp.
