Budgam : The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Budgam, S F Hamid chaired the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC), meeting to review implementation of MUMKIN and Tejaswini self-employment schemes in the district.
At the outset, Nodal Officer Mission Youth (DD Employment), Mushtaq Ahmad Wani briefed the chair regarding the current status of progress under both schemes.
During the meeting, several cases of unemployed eligible youth of Budgam district were brought before the Committee for approval under Mumkin and Tejaswini.
The DDC after the review approved 35 new cases under MUMKIN and 18 cases under Tejaswini Scheme.
Meanwhile, earlier 269 cases under MUMKIN, 68 cases under Tejaswini in the FY 2021-22 and 22-23 have been approved in District Budgam.
The meeting was attended by GM DIC Dr Mohammad Ashraf, CPO Budgam, DD Employment Budgam, ARTO Budgam, LDM, Representatives from DSWO and JKEDI Budgam.
