DC Reasi presides over weekly Block Diwas at Panchayat Suketer

Reasi : Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal on Wednesday visited PanchayatGharSuketerGhayala of Block Reasi and listened to public issues and demands during weekly Block Diwasprogramme.

PRIs members as well as general public of adjoining panchayats put forth their issues and demands seeking construction of  Irrigation canal,  meeting scarcity of drinking water supply,  completion of Anji bridge,  construction of footbridge at Panasa,  Agriculture iron grates are required to protect the lands of farmers, Repairing of  panchayatghar road, Functioning of Anganwadicentre at ward no.3.

The DDC exhorted the officers and   public representatives to work in tandem for effective execution and monitoring of the schemes in the larger interest of the general public.

The DC added that PRIs shall focus on sanitary needs of their Panchayats by constructing Soakage/Composed pits under MGNREGA and Swach Bharat Mission Gramin.

ADDC, JyotiSalathia; PO, ICDS, Anwar Bandey; ACD, DR. AnirudhRai; CHO,CEO, CMO, CAHO, DSHO, LMO, AD Fisheries,  Tehsildar, BDO and a large number of PRI members of Block Thakrakote attended the Block Diwas.

While interacting with the PRIs as well as the general public of the area, the DC said that such platforms enable the District administration to know the   problems being faced by the people. She asked the officers to inform the people about income generating and beneficiary oriented schemes launched by the Government of India and J&K Government.
