Jan Abhiyaan Campaign conducted across Distt B’pora

Bandipora :  As a part of ongoing Public Out reachprogrammes of Jan Abhiyaan, district administration Bandiporaon Tuesdayorganised multifarious activities across the district.

Activities ranging from Land Passbook distribution, sponsorship under PMEGP to  awareness on digital services have been provided onspot during the camps.

These camps were organised in all blocks of District including Sumbal, Naidkhaii, Hajin, Nowgam, Aloosa and other places which were attended by hundreds of people.

Designated district officers were also present at all places who supervised the deliberations of the events.

At Sumbal, Camp was presided over by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate ,Dr. Bashir Ahmad Lone and was attended by Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, concerned Tehsildar  and BDO  besides the other senior officers and officials of the departments. Technical Officers and field functionaries of departments also interacted  with people.

The multi session day long programme was also attended by the farmers and the beneficiaries of the various departments.

People were provided hands on information of various schemes and financial subvention initiatives of the government.

The participants were provided opportunity to interact with the technical officer’s and crafts men during their visits to stalls installed by the departments including Handicraft, Horticulture, Agriculture, District Industries Centre and Info- Outlets of Animal Husbandry department.

During the programme, officers of the various departments shared details of various welfare schemes and self employment schemes besides highlighting their achievements and targets.

Many land passbooks were also distributed among farmers on the occasion besides Awareness on  saturation of various beneficiary oriented schemes provided.

Sponsorship under PMEGP, and other services were also provided onspot.

Mujtaba, CAO; Farooq Ahmad, CHO; Showkat Ahmad, DSHO; G.A.Lone, CAHO and Bilal Ahmad,  Asst Director;  F CS& CA visited different blocks of the district under the Campaign and interacted with people, highlighting the importance of the programme.
