Anantnag : A programme was on Monday organized at KVK Dooru as part of release of 12th installment of PM Kisan by Prime Minister of India, NarendraModi.
The programme was jointly organized by Agriculture Production Department Anantnag and KVK Dooru.
The National Programme was live streamed and several officers from Agriculture, KVK as well as several farmers witnessed the release of the 12th installment.
On the occasion, Chief Agriculture Officer AnantnagAijaz Ahmad interacted with several farmers and gave brief outline of the number of Kisans who have availed the benefits under PM Kisan in the District. The farmers appreciated the department for organizing the function as well as for the support being provided.
It is in place to mention that more than 1 crore farmers from the entire country attended the release of the 12th Installment of PM KISAN. On the occasion, the PM also inaugurated a two day AgriStart up Conclave, 600 PMKSK Outlets, Bharat urea bags and Indian Edge – e magazine.
In addition to farmers, various employees of Agriculture Production and KVK Dooru were also present on the occasion.
