Kishtwar : Department of Commerce in coordination with Department of Chemistry of Government Degree College Kishtwaron Mondayorganised an Industrial Tour/field visit for their students to Industrial Estate at Sangrambhata.
The students along with faculty members interacted with the General Manager(GM), District Industries Centre Dr Mohammad Ashraf, professionals and workers working at the site.
The GM, DIC, encouraged the students to start their own business units. He also briefed about the role of District Industries Centre in facilitating new start ups by providing them land, material and financial assistance. These students also came to know about various schemes provided by the government, how to manufacture qualitative products at reasonable prices, how raw materials are procured, how accounts are maintained etc.
The organiser of the program were HOD, Department of Chemistry, Umer Din Rather and HOD Department of Commerce Lt.(Dr.) MadhuBala. This program was further coordinated by Teaching Assistant Shoket Ahmed and Lab Assistant NishuKumari.
