Ganderbal : The Ganderbal police on Monday visited the families of police Martyrs who had laid down their lives in the line of duty to expressed solidarity and perceive the well-being of the families members in the district.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, police said that the SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar along with Dy SP DAR Ganderbal, SHOs and Incharge PPs of district Ganderbal visited the families of martyrs across the district.
During their visit, to NOKs of Police martyrs, the visiting officers listened their grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine problems will be taken up at appropriate level for timely redressal. Visiting officers emphasised on them to consider police department as a family and share their problems especially in case of exigencies. While expressing their gratitude, the officers added that J&K police will always remain indebted to these martyrs who helped a great deal in creating the atmosphere of peace & tranquillity in J&K.
The SSP Ganderbal on this occasion while interacting with NOKs of police martyrs said that the blood of their sons shall not go in vain, as they have sacrificed themselves for the nation’s peace, stability, integrity and safeguarding common people.
In a concluding para of the above referred statement, police said that the family members of police martyrs expressed gratitude and happiness to the Police department for showing empathetic gesture towards them.
