Bandipora : The Bandipora police on Monday organized a Band show and cultural programmeat SK Stadium Bandiporain order to pay tribute to police martyrs who lost their lives in defending the integrity and security of the country and in maintaining law & order. The Police Band Show was performed by Band Party of District Police Bandipora and in cultural programme students of various institutions of district Bandipora participated.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, police said that the ASP Bandipora Ashiq Hussain Tak, Dy SP DAR Bandipora, Padma Shree Awardee Faisal Ali Dar, Dy.CEO, President Cricket Association Bandipora and other officers of Police, Education Department, Teachers and large number of students of various educational institutes of district Bandipora were present on this occasion.
During the programme, the Band Show performers played various patriotic tunes and enthralled the audience. Students also sung different patriotic songs depicting the braveries of Police martyrs and highlighted the role of police in maintaining law & order, fighting various Anti-national and Anti-social elements and other crimes prevalent in the society through various cultural activities.
The ASP Bandipora in his address paid rich tributes to martyrs of J&K Police and lauded the role of Band Party of Police for their skills. He also appreciated the cultural activities exhibited by students and added that during the celebration of Police Flag Day-2022, various events will be held across the district by police in the memory of Police martyrs.
