Srinagar : Encouraging and appreciating the hard work of the wards of SPOs who have excelled in class 10th /12th annual examination during the academic session 2021-2022, the Director General J&K Police Dilbag Singh has sanctioned meritorious scholarships of rupees 2.86 lakh in favour of 53 wards of SPOs.
According to a statement issued from Police Headquarters the DGP has sanctioned Rs 1.18 lakh to 18 meritorious wards of SPOs who have secured above 90% marks in the annual examination of Class 10th /12th during the academic session 2021-22. Among these Rs 6000 each have been sanctioned in favour of 09 meritorious wards who have secured above 90% marks in class 10th while rupees 7200 each have been sanctioned in favour of 09 wards who have secured above 90% marks in class 12th annual examination.
Similarly, rupees 4000 and rupees 6000 each respectively have been sanctioned in favour of 35 meritorious wards of SPOs of class 10th /12th who have secured above 80% marks in the annual examination during the academic session of 2021-22. The amount has been sanctioned out of the Police Pariwar Fund.
Police Headquarters in the concluding para of it’s above referred statement has also said that it has been sanctioning scholarships, rewards, welfare loan/ relief for police personnel/SPOs, wards of cops killed in the line of duty and both serving and retired Police personnel under different schemes to boost their morale.
