Kulgam : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhaton Wednesday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review overall power scenario and the status of ongoing developmental works being carried out by the KPDCL in the district.
During the meeting, the DC enquired about the availability, demand and position of power supply in the district and also took a comprehensive review of the work on other vital projects spearheaded by the various wings of KPDCL under various schemes.
While reviewing progress made in augmentation of 33KV KulgamD.H.Pora line the concerned informed the chair that survey has been completed and material order has been placed.
The DC instructed the concerned to ensure in time completion of augmentation of this line.
He also instructed to ensure in time installation of panels in identified receiving stations and ensure smooth power supply to all areas across the district.
The DC directed the concerned to ensure completion of all other works meant for augmenting power supply in the district within the given time.
The meeting was attended by ADC, ACR, JD Planning, Ex. Engineers from various wings of KPDCL, AEES and other officers.
