DDC Rajouri reviews implementation of RDD Schemes

DM Calls for speedy allotment of works, adherence to quality parameters, Says “19178 houses completed under PMAY-G”

Rajouri :  District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal on Thursday reviewed the implementation of the RDD sector schemes here at a meeting of the concerned officers.

During the meeting, the DDC sought a detailed report from the concerned officers about the physical and financial achievements under different schemes.

The meeting discussed the physical and financial progress under PMAY; AWAAS Plus, MGNREGA Projects completed and Person Days generated, Completion of soakage pits and must thrust was given on the progress on District capex 2022-23.

While taking note of the progress under District capex, the meeting was informed that out of the approved works 1335 works have been allotted and work on most of them have already been started. The DDC asked the concerned officers to speed up the allotment of the tendered projects.

While reviewing the progress under PMAY, the meeting was informed that 19178 houses have been completed in the district against a target of 30395 sanctioned cases.

Similarly, under Awaas plus it was informed that 322 houses have been completed and work on other 5225 houses was in progress. The DDC also directed the BDOs to complete the target under soak pits at the earliest. Inquiring about the progress made under other departmental schemes, he asked the concerned officers to put in extra efforts to meet expectations of the general public.

Impressing upon the officers to work with zeal and dedication to achieve the targets set for the current financial year, he stressed on close monitoring of ongoing works to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.

The officers were further asked to work in close coordination with the PRIs to bring tangible results on the ground.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Rajouri, MohdKhurshid, ACD Rajouri, Vijay Verma, DPO, ChanderkantBhagat and BDOs.
