ADDC Jmu reviews arrangements for EidMilad-Un- Nabi (SAW)

Jammu :  Additional District Development Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Chanderon Monday chaired a meeting here at Conference Hall, DC Office to review the arrangements for EidMilad-Un- Nabi (SAW).

ACG (A.D.M), RakeshDubey; Xen, PHE City-II, Anil Gupta; Xen ED-II Jammu, Rajesh Kumar; AEE PWD, Deepak Puri; AEE PWD, SarwarMehmood; AD, FCS&CA, VipanBhagat; Admin Auqaf Jammu, MudassirIqbal; Dy SP Traffic; Health Officer; Deputy Controller, Legal Metrology Jammu; Deputy Controller Crime Defence Jammu and other concerned officers besides representatives of different religious organisations were also present in the meeting.

Threadbare discussions were held pertaining to finalization of arrangements for celebration of EidMilad-Un- Nabi festival in Jammu District.

The representatives of religious organisations projected their demands regarding supply of safe drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, ration and other essential commodities for the auspicious day.

The ADDC directed the concerned officers of JPDCL and Jal Shakti Department to ensure uninterrupted power and drinking water supply, availability of water tankers at mosques and congregation sites and repair of  street lights in and around these areas.

The Health Department was asked to make available health care facilities including Ambulance services at congregation sites, while the Fire and Emergency department was asked to station fire tenders to avoid any exigency.

The ADDC also asked the authorities of Police and Traffic Departments to ensure proper security and traffic arrangements around the mosques and procession sites to avoid inconvenience to the people.
