Reasi : Motor Vehicle Department Reasi, in collaboration with J&K Excise Department, organised an awareness campaign on “NashaMukt Bharat” J&K Abhiyaan here the other day Speaking on the occasion, ARTO Rajesh Gupta stressed the need to sensitize the commuters as well as people about the hazards of drug addiction, adding that the commuters have to play a pivotal role to curb this menace. He said that the main objective of organizing this awareness campaign was to reach out to masses and spread awareness about the impact of drug abuse on the individuals as well as on the society.
He exhorted the drivers and commuters to take pledge against use of harmful drugs. He advised the commuters not to indulge in drug abuse and also aware the public at large about the various menaces existing in the society. On this occasion, the participants pledged not to indulge in any type of drug abuse.
