ADC Tral distributes Land Passbooks to Farmers

Pulwama: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Tral, S ARainaon Friday presided over the Land Passbook distribution function at Village AaliGund PH Chandrigam, here.
During the event, the ADC handed over land passbooks to the land owners present. He also interacted with the landowners/ farmers and highlighted the benefits of land passbooks and said that the passbook is true to the land records and can be generated online.
Under Digital India Land Record Modernization Programme (DILRMP), the department has scanned voluminous revenue records and put them up in public domain under ‘ApkiZameen, ApkiNigrani’, he further said.
Land holders were apprised about the significance of land passbooks. It was intimated that the department has worked very hard in preparing the passbooks and uploading on the web within a record time for the benefit of people.
TehsildarTral, NaibTehsildarDadsara and other Revenue officials were also present on the occasion.
Later, the ADC visited SR point and resolved issues with respect to the construction of SR. He also visited other sites in the area and interacted with the residents and listened to their demands.
