Under this system, the main emphasis is laid on G2C (Government to Citizen) Online Services and district Kulgam has shifted nearly  200 services to online mode and so far has received a good response of these services with people preferring applying through online mode for various certificates, documents and  services.

Meanwhile, through the online mode of services, the revenue department has successfully issued nearly 33000 online certificates within the last 60 days.

This was revealed by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.

“Our revenue offices issued nearly 33000 certificates via online mode in the last 60 days, which includes 29894 income certificates, 1405 character certificates, unemployment 82, RBA/OBC 444, EWS 71, legal Heir 54 and 26 ST and other  certificates”, he added.

This online shift of services has paved a way for transparent, accountable and accessible administration and the initiative is people centric where people need not to visit offices physically anymore and this online mode has ensured time bound issuance of certificates, documents and other services to the applicants/people and has infused new vibrancy in the system, added Dr Bilal.
